John Morrison, PhD, is the director of the California National Primate Research Center at the University of California, Davis and editor-in-chief and founder of Society of Neuroscience’s educational website, BrainFacts.org. He was recently interviewed by the Society for Neuroscience and discussed the importance of communicating research to legislators, policymakers, the public, and the families who may be affected by brain diseases or disorders and assure them that progress is being made.
